Summary of Business Terms of BudgetBakers (ShareCost App)

Welcome to ShareCost by BudgetBakers. The following text serves as an abridged overview of the key points of our Terms and Conditions. By using the ShareCost Service, you agree to these rules.

About the Service

The ShareCost Service is used for recording shared costs between friends, family, or colleagues. It is important to realize that the records in the application are informal and serve only for your orientation; the application does not create legally enforceable contracts or promissory notes. BudgetBakers does not resolve disputes between Users regarding who owes what to whom. Calculations in the application are a mathematical aid, but the final settlement is always based on the agreement between the group members.

Account and Registration

To use the Services, it is necessary to create an account (or "guest" access, if enabled), for whose activities you bear full responsibility. The application can only be used by Persons who are at least 15 years old. The Service is intended exclusively for personal use. You commit that you will not abuse the Service, or use it for illegal activities or harassment of other Users.

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. All information that you insert into the application (such as your expenses and income) belongs exclusively to you and we use it only to ensure the functioning of the application. We handle your data according to strict GDPR security rules and never pass it to third parties without your explicit consent.

Subscription and Payments

The basic version of the application may be free, but we also offer paid Premium features. Subscriptions are usually paid monthly or annually and automatic renewal occurs until you cancel it yourself. If you decide to terminate the Subscription, you can do so at any time in the settings of your phone (Apple App Store or Google Play), ideally at least 24 hours before the next renewal. Since payments are processed directly by Apple or Google, the rules of these companies apply. All complaints and requests for money refunds must be resolved directly with them.

Service Availability

We provide the Service on the principle of "as is". Although we strive for maximum reliability, we do not guarantee continuous availability or that the calculations will be error-free in every complex scenario. We bear no responsibility for the actual transfer of money between Users.

Governing Law

All legal relationships resulting from the use of the Service are governed by the legal order of the Czech Republic.
